Kenyon is the first director representing point-of-care publishers to serve on AAM’s board

LISLE, Ill. (Nov. 10, 2022) — The Alliance for Audited Media (AAM) is pleased to announce that John Kenyon, senior vice president and managing director of Dotdash Meredith’s Targeted Media Health division, has been elected as the first point-of-care (POC) publisher director to serve on AAM’s board of directors. AAM recently designated two seats on its board to allow for greater representation for members of industries such as POC marketing, a subset of out-of-home (OOH) advertising. The second seat will be filled by a media buyer member with significant representation in the POC/OOH space.

“I’m honored to represent POC publisher members on AAM’s board of directors,” said Kenyon. “AAM is a foundational pillar in the media industry, and it has had an incredible impact on shaping confidence in POC media. I look forward to collaborating with other AAM directors to continue to advance that effort.”

In his role at Dotdash Meredith, Kenyon oversees all aspects of business development, strategic partnerships and sales for the company’s branded point-of-care products including cover wraps and condition guides. He has more than three decades of experience in strategic marketing and sales management and is a recognized leader in the point-of-care space. He also serves as co-chairman of the board of directors for the Point of Care Marketing Association (POCMA), a group created to promote the delivery of information and marketing messages in healthcare settings.

“We are excited to welcome John to the AAM board,” said Christopher Black, SVP, global lead for Zenith and AAM chairman. “His leadership and experience in POC media will only strengthen AAM’s commitment to helping the channel continue to grow by providing a foundation of media transparency and assurance.”

AAM has audited POC media networks and campaigns for several years and is an approved auditor for POCMA. As a not-for-profit industry organization, the AAM board of directors includes publisher, marketer and agency members from across North America.
