AAM's Team
Richard Murphy
CEO, President and Managing Director
Rich Murphy oversees the entire AAM organization including media assurance services, strategy, marketing, finance, human resources and business innovation. He was named president of AAM in March 2023 following AAM’s merger with BPA Worldwide where he held several executive positions including CEO and EVP of global operations. A graduate of St. John's University, he is a licensed CPA in the state of New York and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Rich also serves on the board of directors for ANA Business Marketing NYC, the largest business marketing chapter of the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), and the Point of Care Marketing Association (POCMA).
Tom Drouillard
Senior Advisor
Tom Drouillard acts as senior advisor to the AAM board and staff. He previously served as AAM’s CEO. Tom joined AAM in 2014 with more than 25 years of media and marketing experience and served as president and CEO of Scarborough Research (now Nielsen Local) and president of the Americas at Nielsen Online. He has held executive positions with Claritas, PERQ/HCI, Interactive Market Systems and SRDS. He holds a master’s in finance and bachelor’s in marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
Bob Schweitzer
CFO/COO
Bob Schweitzer oversees finance, human resources, information technology and media audit operations at AAM. While in various roles at AAM, he has been instrumental in the planning and execution of multiple company mergers, process efficiencies, modernization initiatives and cost-saving programs.
Bob has been with AAM since 1997 in various positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of Accounting, VP of Finance, CFO, CFO/COO and Assistant Treasurer. He holds a BS in Accounting from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and an MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Roosevelt University, Chicago.
Susan Kantor
Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications
Susan Kantor has led AAM’s marketing and communications team since 2017. With nearly 15 years at the organization, she has helped tell AAM’s story by exploring new channels, building new partnerships and implementing new technologies. Prior to this role, she was communications director at the Chicago Yacht Club. Susan has a master’s in journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and MBA from the University of Illinois Chicago.
Katrina Eddy
Vice President, Technology Assurance
Katrina Eddy leads AAM’s tech assurance, point-of-care, and sustainability teams, overseeing certification audits for various industry partners. A graduate of Yale University, Katrina joined BPA Worldwide as a media auditor in 2001, working her way up the media audit ranks to become Manager of the consumer marketing audit team. In 2007, Katrina left BPA to launch a publishing and media consulting business. She continued her career at Valassis Communications, Inc., Walmart Client Services division and at Yale University School of Medicine. In February 2019, Katrina returned to BPA, and joined AAM in 2023 following the merger of AAM and BPA. She serves on the Point of Care Marketing Association (POCMA) Standards and Solutions Committee.
Jessica George
Vice President, Client Development
Jessica George joined AAM as a newspaper field auditor in 1998 and has held various roles over the years. As a member of AAM’s technical review and report process team, she was responsible for the release of AAM’s Snapshot report. She also assisted with the development of AAM’s online filing tool. In 2006, Jessica joined AAM’s client solutions team to help clients with technical questions. She eventually became the department’s senior client solutions manager and was recently promoted to vice president of client development where she leads a team to develop client support strategies and maintain relationships through education and training.
Heather Holt
Vice President, Member Success
Heather Holt leads AAM’s member success team where she oversees the improvement of existing products and services and developing new solutions. She also leads the corporate continuing education program. Heather joined AAM in 2023 following the merger of AAM and BPA Worldwide. In 2002, she joined BPA as a media auditor. During her career, she has served as BPA’s director of quality assurance, where she was responsible for developing and overseeing quality control procedures for all BPA product lines including assurance and auditing. She has also served in multiple audit supervisory roles as team lead and in member relations management.
Kristina Meinig
Vice President, Market Development
With more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and product development, Kristina Meinig has played a pivotal role in advancing media transparency through assurance solutions. As head of AAM’s market development team, Kristina collaborates with industry-leading organizations including IAB, IAB Tech Lab, TAG and Ad Net Zero to drive partnerships that elevate transparency standards across the media and tech assurance landscape. Her current focus includes expanding awareness of AAM’s digital solutions and working closely with board members and clients to strengthen trust within the industry.
Danielle O'Connell
Vice President, Client Development
Danielle O’Connell works with AAM’s magazine, B2B/farm and point-of-care media clients as well as AAM’s agency partners. Prior to her current role, she worked at media organizations including Waiting Room Subscription Services (WRSS), Martha Stewart Living and National Review. Danielle’s current focus is helping AAM clients navigate industry changes and introducing them to programs and partnerships that help them gain greater exposure for their quality work.
Kevin Rehberg
VICE PRESIDENT, CLIENT DEVELOPMENT
Kevin Rehberg joined AAM in 1999 and has held several roles in auditing, readership verification, product and client development. He helps news media organizations leverage their audited data to better reach advertisers. Kevin advocates for media transparency and feels any part he can play in helping local media companies reach media buyers is highly rewarding.
Adam Garbati
Director, Audit Services
Adam Garbati joined AAM in 2023 following the merger of AAM and BPA Worldwide. During his 20 years with BPA, Adam held positions in several areas including auditing, quality assurance and account management. He was previously responsible for overseeing global media audit operations as well as assurance engagements conducted in accordance with established industry guidelines, standards and regulations in media, event and sustainability spaces.
Chad Jaennette
DIRECTOR, AUDIT SERVICES
Chad Jaennette has held various roles in his nearly 20 years at AAM including periodical auditor, publisher relations manager and audit manager. He manages a team out of the CDS Group in Des Moines, Iowa, where he assists magazine clients with all aspects of the audit process. Chad enjoys being part of the ever-changing media landscape and working with clients across the industry.
Sarah Walsh
DIRECTOR, AUDIT SERVICES
Sarah Walsh joined AAM in 2000 and currently manages audits in every division in the U.S. and Canada—magazine, B2B, news and point-of-care media. She works directly with clients to answer questions regarding rule interpretations, policies and audits. Sarah values getting to know clients to help them maximize their partnership with AAM and communicate their needs to the industry.
