A legacy of trust.

The Alliance for Audited Media is the industry’s assurance partner. Founded in 1914 by the Association of National Advertisers as the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), AAM has evolved from verifying print circulation to providing assurance across the media and advertising ecosystem. In 2023, AAM merged with BPA Worldwide to become the largest not-for-profit media assurance organization governed by a board of directors representing agencies, marketers and publishers.

 

Our mission is to collaborate with the industry to set standards and develop assurance programs that bring greater transparency to channels including digital, print, retail media, events, out-of-home, ad tech and more. Our assurance solutions can be applied across the industry with the goal of helping:

 

AAM partners with leading organizations including the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), IAB Tech Lab, Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG), the Events Industry Council (EIC), Point of Care Marketing Association (POCMA) and others to set industry standards and develop assurance programs that promote greater transparency and accountability.
