White brings decades of media leadership and innovation to new role
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (April 21, 2025) — The Alliance for Audited Media (AAM) is pleased to announce the election of Brenda White, executive vice president of The Edit at Publicis Media, as the new chair of its board of directors. White recently served as vice chair and succeeds Chris Black, founder and general manager of WiFY Media Group, who served as board chair since 2020.
White brings extensive experience in media planning and investment, offering a strategic perspective and deep industry knowledge to the role. Since she joined AAM’s board in 2008, White has helped the organization evolve to support media accountability across channels and elevate the impact of verified media.
“Brenda has been a force in the industry and a longtime supporter of AAM’s mission to build a more transparent and trusted marketplace for both media buyers and sellers,” said Rich Murphy, AAM’s CEO, president and managing director. “Her insight, passion and commitment to media will continue to guide AAM’s growth and innovation. We’re excited to welcome her as board chair.”
As EVP of The Edit, White leads a centralized team focused on managing investments for clients across print and digital platforms with an emphasis on quality, editorial expertise and audience trust. White has championed the evolving role of publishing in the digital ecosystem, encouraged agencies to rethink how they engage with trusted media partners, and elevated the value of incorporating verified data into media plans.

White launched her career at Leo Burnett and has held numerous leadership positions in media investment. She has received multiple industry honors including being named one of Mediaweek’s Top 50 Executives and a Folio Rising Star, as well as contributing to award-winning campaigns.
