Meet the Leaders of AAM
AAM executives have a deep understanding of the issues facing today's media professionals. Together, they lead AAM's team of more than 125 staff across the U.S. and Canada. Individually, they each play an important part in helping shape and bring AAM initiatives to fruition, working hand-in-hand with AAM clients, other industry leaders and their AAM colleagues.
Tom Drouillard, CEO, President and Managing Director
Tom Drouillard oversees the entire AAM organization, including traditional and digital auditing services, strategy, marketing, finance, human resources and business innovation in the U.S. and Canada. Under his leadership, AAM has grown its digital services, introduced new custom media-reporting tools and implemented a strategic focus on product development and client solutions.
Drouillard joined AAM in 2014 with more than 25 years of media and marketing experience. He was previously president and CEO of Scarborough Research (now Nielsen Local) and president of the Americas at Nielsen Online. He has held executive positions with Claritas, PERQ/HCI, Interactive Market Systems and SRDS. He holds a master’s in finance and bachelor’s in marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
Brian Condon, EVP, Commercial Development
Brian Condon focuses on providing AAM clients and partners with cross-media solutions to help them transact with trust and confidence. His responsibilities include marketing, business and industry development, and oversight of the organization’s sales teams in New York, Toronto and Arlington Heights, Ill. Condon joined AAM with more than 20 years of experience in information services and most recently served as executive vice president of commercial development at Scarborough Research.
Scott Hanson, EVP, Audit Services
Scott Hanson has served as AAM’s executive vice president of audit services since 2011 and has oversight of all auditing activities. He originally joined AAM in 1985 as a field auditor and has held various positions during his 30-plus year career with the organization.
Mark Wachowicz, EVP, Business Innovation
Mark Wachowicz is responsible for leading AAM’s technology development and business process improvements. This includes oversight of AAM’s IT department, as well as gathering customer and product insights AAM needs to make effective business decisions. He started his tenure as a field auditor and has been with the organization for more than 30 years.
Joan Brehl, Vice President and General Manager, Canada
As vice president and general manager of AAM Canada, Brehl oversees AAM’s Toronto-based office and is the go-to contact for the organization’s Canadian clientele. In this role she works with a wide range of traditional and digital media clients from Canada’s publishing, advertising and ad tech industries to help them find accountable and trusted solutions that meet their business needs. With more than 30 years of experience in media, Brehl has a deep understanding of today’s cross-platform landscape and is well-versed in AAM’s consulting and certification audits to IAB and MRC standards.
Prior to joining AAM, she held positions at TIME Publishing, TIME Canada and Harrison Young Pesonen & Newell (now PHD). She graduated from Ryerson University with bachelor’s degrees in both business management and marketing management and is a Certified Advertising Agency Practitioner (CAAP).
