Product Leadership Summer Intern

AAM’s Product Leadership (PL) department is responsible for guiding the success of new audit and data driven products and leading the cross-functional teams that work to help launch them. PL sets the strategic vision, roadmap, and features for the products to ensure they align with AAM’s corporate strategic goals and deliver exceptional value to clients. The PL Intern will work on a variety of daily tasks and special projects—both by working autonomously and in teams—and gain valuable experience in a product management-oriented organization.

 

Duties/Tasks:

  • Assisting Product Leadership team with coordination of multiple projects from initial planning to implementation
  • Preparing and modifying project specification documents and product plans
  • Developing project timelines, status updates, scope changes and other documentation
  • Coordinating and conducting testing for new product features or functionality
  • Soliciting feedback to client/user needs connected to products or AAM’s business goals
  • Assisting with analyzing AAM data products and sharing insights
  • Gaining exposure to product management tools (Jira, Balsamiq, Google Analytics, Power BI, etc.)
  • Participating in product initiatives with AAM’s international partners and outside vendors
  • Observing and participating in product coordination meetings with various teams/stakeholders
  • Working with other internal AAM teams – Sales, Marketing, Auditing, IT
  • Attending Product Leadership; Product Innovation; Information Technology meetings

 

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Have an interest in media advertising, publishing, or ad technology industry
  • Associates degree or currently completing bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (e.g., Product Management, Process Management, Business Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Marketing)

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player but willing to learn independently
  • Naturally curious and analytical with technical aptitude
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work unsupervised
  • Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
