Compliance Auditor

Auditors are independent specialists who review client accounts and records to ensure reported data is in compliance with established industry standards. They also act in an advisory role to recommend possible improvements and other measures for consideration.


  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work
  • Timely coordination and completion of simultaneous audit assignments
  • Collect and analyze data/records and use individual judgment to confirm compliance or detect issues
  • Present and communicate audit results to appropriate parties. Participate in rebuttal and appeals process
  • Develop and maintain courteous and professional contact with clients
  • Meet work standards by following productivity, quality and customer service standards; resolving operational problems and identifying process improvements
  • Maintain knowledge of governing standards, including AAM bylaws and rules
  • Provide guidance and expert advice to management on technical, systems and process related topics
  • Work as a team by assisting peers and training new auditors as needed
  • Conduct on-site field work, requiring travel throughout the United States


  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree with concentration in business or accounting
  • 1-2 years of related work experience preferred

Other Specifications:

  • Prior experience with Audit Command Language (ACL) and Visual Basic Applications (VBA) is a plus
  • Must be able to work both independently and within a team at all levels including peers,  management, executives and clients
  • Up to 25 percent travel is required
